What teams usually ask first

How long does a reservoir survey take?
It depends on surface area, the line spacing the accuracy target demands, and access. A small reservoir can be a single day on the water; a large one is planned in stages. We give an estimate in the survey plan before mobilising so there are no surprises on cost or schedule.
Can you survey while the reservoir stays in service?
Yes. An unmanned surface vessel does not require the water body to be drawn down or taken out of service, which is one of the main reasons authorities choose this method over conventional survey.
What formats do you deliver data in?
Processed depth models, contours and cross-sections, supplied in the GIS or CAD formats your team already works in, together with a method and coverage report.
Do you handle the regulatory permissions?
We advise on what is required and support the application, but permission to operate on a given water body normally rests with the asset owner or the relevant authority. We agree who is doing what before the project starts.
