We are a team of innovators, technologists, designers, scientists and engineers, building and manufacturing high-impact marine mobility products from Pune.

India has an enormous amount of stored water and remarkably little current data about it. Reservoirs silt up quietly. Dam walls age out of sight. Canals lose capacity nobody has measured in years.
i4-Marine Technologies was founded in 2023 to close that gap with machines rather than assumptions — unmanned surface vessels and underwater vehicles that make surveying and inspecting a water body routine instead of exceptional.
Everything is designed, built and supported in India. That is a deliberate choice: when a customer needs a spare, a payload change or an engineering fix, the people who built the vessel are in the same country and usually the same city.

Inspecting a dam wall or a submerged pier has traditionally meant sending a diver. An ROV does the routine passes so divers are reserved for the work that genuinely needs them.
Our water conservation programme is not a corporate afterthought. It is one of the four streams the company is organised around.
Indigenous innovation and intelligent integration, developed with Indian research institutions, keeps capability and support inside the country.
A marine platform cannot be signed off in a workshop. It has to be put on water, repeatedly, by the people who built it.
So we built the water in. i4-Marine has established a full research and development facility on the bank of the Bheema river, with a small jetty and boat shed for testing boats and marine equipment. The lab alongside it is set up for hardware assembly, software development and test — which means a change to a controller can be written, flashed and run on the water the same afternoon.
Development funding for these systems has been sourced from the Technology Innovation Hubs at the IITs, under the Department of Science and Technology. We have also signed MoUs and established project engagements with a number of research institutions across India.
