Overview

Built for the job, not the brochure

The Aqua-Scanner 1000 is the platform most of our survey work runs on. A twin-hull catamaran is inherently stable at the low speeds bathymetric survey demands, which means cleaner sonar returns and fewer lines to re-run. It is remotely operated with live telemetry to the bank, so the crew sees coverage building as it happens rather than discovering a gap back at the office.

Stable at survey speed

The catamaran hull holds a steady attitude at the slow, constant speed that clean bathymetry requires, instead of pitching through it.

Live telemetry to the bank

Coverage, position and payload status stream back in real time, so gaps are found and closed on the day rather than on the next mobilisation.

Reaches what a launch cannot

Shallow draught and a small footprint let it survey close to banks, inside canals and across areas a crewed survey launch has to avoid.

No crew on the water

The survey is run from shore. That removes the boat-handling risk from routine, repetitive survey work entirely.
