Inspection without divers
Routine visual passes are handled by the vehicle, so diver exposure is reserved for work that genuinely requires a person in the water.
Lightweight inspection-class remotely operated vehicle with AI-enhanced HD video.

Aquanaut exists so that looking at a submerged structure stops being an event. It is a lightweight ROV built for inspection rather than intervention: dam walls, ship hulls, jetty piles and bridge piers, with AI-enhanced HD video streamed to the surface. Because it is light enough to be carried and launched by a small team, inspections can be repeated as often as the asset actually warrants.
Detailed specifications are issued per configuration — payload selection drives most of the numbers that matter.
| Class | Inspection ROV |
|---|---|
| Control | Tethered, remotely operated |
| Depth rating | Up to 30 m |
| Endurance | 2 hours |
| Propulsion | Electric |
| Vision | HD camera, AI-enhanced video |
| Attitude sensing | Roll, pitch and yaw sensors |
| Depth sensing | On-board depth sensor |
| Deployment | Two-person, portable |
| Typical targets | Dam walls, hulls, piers, jetties |
Configurations vary by payload, water body and survey requirement. Tell us your site and we will send the specification that actually applies to it.
Launch, descent down the dam face and the inspection itself — with depth, dive time and attitude overlaid live on the video the pilot is flying from.
Routine visual passes are handled by the vehicle, so diver exposure is reserved for work that genuinely requires a person in the water.
Image enhancement helps recover usable detail in the low-visibility, high-turbidity water typical of Indian reservoirs and harbours.
A small team can carry, launch and recover it, which is what makes frequent re-inspection practical rather than theoretical.
Every pass produces footage that can be archived and compared against the last one, turning inspection into a time series.
