Who We Are

A team of innovators, technologists, designers, scientists and engineers

We build and manufacture high-impact marine mobility products — and we build them for a reason. India’s water bodies are surveyed too rarely, inspected too slowly, and understood too late.

  • Indigenous engineeringDesigned, built and supported in India, so spares and engineering changes stay close to the customer.
  • Conservation at the centreOur programmes exist to help conserve and nurture water resources, not merely to collect data.
  • Institutional depthWorking alongside IIT innovation hubs, university subsea labs and defence research institutes.
Our Programmes

Four programmes, one purpose

Everything we build falls into one of these four streams of work.

Unmanned Surface Vehicles

Autonomous and remotely operated catamarans and inflatables for survey, sampling and monitoring across inland and coastal water.

Underwater Vehicles

Inspection-class ROVs that reach submerged structures without putting a diver in the water.

Underwater Technologies

Sonar integration, control systems, telemetry and the autonomy stack that turns a hull into an instrument.

Water Conservation

Siltation studies and capacity assessments that tell authorities what a reservoir actually holds today.

Flagship Platform

Aqua-Scanner 1000

A remotely operated unmanned catamaran platform, built for bathymetric survey of dams, canals, ports and rivers. Stable at low speed, quiet, and small enough to work where a crewed survey launch cannot go.

Applications

What we are asked to do

Five kinds of work, delivered by the same autonomous platforms.

Bathymetric Survey

Hydrographic mapping of dams, reservoirs, canals, rivers and ports, delivered as survey-grade depth models.

Underwater Inspection

Visual and structural inspection of dam walls, ship hulls, jetties and bridge piers without divers.

Water Quality Monitoring

Repeatable in-situ sampling and sensor runs that build a time series instead of a one-off snapshot.

Water Conservation

Siltation studies and capacity assessments that tell water authorities what a reservoir truly holds.

Green Passenger Mobility

Clean, quiet electric craft for inland passenger routes, backwaters and tourism operators.

How We Work

From first call to delivered data

01

Consult

We learn the water body, the access, and what decision the data has to support.

02

Survey Plan

Line spacing, payload selection and target accuracy, agreed before anyone mobilises.

03

Deploy

Our crew launches, runs the lines and monitors telemetry live from the bank.

04

Data Delivery

Processed models, contours and a method report in the formats your team already uses.

Start a Conversation

Tell us about your water body

Whether it is a reservoir that has never been properly surveyed or a dam wall that needs eyes on it, tell us the problem and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.

Questions

What teams usually ask first

What survey accuracy can the Aqua-Scanner achieve?
Depth accuracy depends on the sonar payload fitted and the water conditions on the day. For routine reservoir and canal work the platform is configured for survey-grade bathymetry with GNSS positioning, and we agree the target accuracy with you in the survey plan before mobilisation so the deliverable is defined up front.
How quickly can a vessel be deployed on site?
The inflatable InfUSV is designed to be carried to the water's edge and launched in minutes, which makes it suited to shallow or hard-to-reach locations. Larger catamaran platforms need a vehicle-accessible launch point. We confirm access and launch arrangements during the site survey.
What depth range do your systems work in?
Operating depth is set by the sonar or ROV payload rather than the vessel itself. We select the payload against the depth profile of your water body, so tell us the expected minimum and maximum depth when you enquire and we will specify accordingly.
What do we actually receive at the end of a survey?
A processed deliverable rather than a raw log: depth models, contour and cross-section outputs, and a report covering method, coverage and conditions. Formats are matched to the GIS or CAD environment your team already uses.
Can a platform be customised for our own sensors?
Yes. ModCat exists for exactly this reason: a modular hull that accepts sonar, sampling and third-party sensor payloads. We have integrated payloads for research groups and institutional labs and can quote a custom configuration.
Do you operate outside Maharashtra?
Yes. We are based in Pune and mobilise across India for survey, inspection and conservation projects. Travel and logistics are quoted per project depending on the site.
Is a diver still needed for underwater inspection?
In most inspection cases, no. The Aquanaut ROV is built to inspect dam walls, ship hulls, jetties and bridge piers with HD video, which removes routine diver exposure and lets inspections be repeated as often as needed.
Are your systems made in India?
Yes. We design, build and manufacture in India, working with institutional innovation hubs and research labs, which keeps support, spares and engineering changes close to the customer.
